About the role
- Responsible for overseeing operations and personnel across assigned locations
- Direct supervision of a Supervisor, Maintenance Services, as well as up to two office support staff
- Lead a team of 10 to 20 Technicians
- Responsible for management of location(s) performance against metrics to meet and/or exceed assigned objectives
- Ensure the customer's needs are being met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets
- Execute work analysis, vehicle planning and scheduling, and productivity tracking
- Provides management, training and development of all personnel assigned
- Responsible for customer relationship management, issue resolutions, customer satisfaction and retention
- Implement cost control measures related to maintenance operations budget and P&L statement
- Collaborate with Sales Team to develop service requirement section of the Customer Care Plan
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- Associate's Degree in Business, Transportation, Distribution/Logistics or related study (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Distribution/Logistics or related study (Preferred)
- 3 years or more in a maintenance operations environment
- 0 to 1 year in Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment
- 0 to 1 year in supervisory experience
- Competent in basic computer skills and in a Microsoft Office environment
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel trucking industry
- Must be able to understand financial statements and basic accounting principles
