About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the People Group function in support of Ryan’s US practices and divisions
  • Oversee employee relations and grievance issues, including investigation, documentation, and resolution
  • Oversee immigration and coordination of expatriate assignments and employment visas in partnership with Legal
  • Develop and maintain service delivery succession plans for US divisions
  • Select, evaluate, and supervise direct reports
  • Oversee the HR Business Partner model and coordinate strategies for integration, talent management, employee relations, compensation, rewards and recognition, and People Group policies
  • Ensure effective employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, status changes, transfers, promotions, and departures within Workday
  • Collaborate with IT to improve and scale talent management and People Group processes using Workday and other technology platforms
  • Manage the Firm’s online and printed policies and related documents
  • Ensure HR-related intranet and external website content is current, relevant, accurate, and meaningful
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resource strategies, tools, processes, and programs
  • Oversee employee lifecycle programs, including performance evaluation, merit and promotion, and goal setting
  • Ensure compliance with country, federal, state, and local employment law
  • Develop strategic talent business partner KPIs and management reports for executive management
  • Travel independently 15–20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
  • At least eight to 10 years of progressively responsible human resources management experience in domestic and international environments
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • PHR certification required
  • SPHR certification preferred
  • Supervisory experience and ability to directly supervise employees
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Regular interaction with employees at all levels and external vendors
  • Independent travel requirement of 15–20%
