About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads complex, technology-enabled implementation and innovation initiatives that support Ryan’s service lines, proprietary platforms, and enterprise strategy.
  • Manages large-scale client and internal projects from scope definition through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Translates business and technical requirements into scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency, client value, and measurable financial impact.
  • Creates a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment aligned with Ryan’s core values.
  • Coordinates resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent implementation and innovation initiatives.
  • Manages internal and external enterprise tax technology and software implementation projects to completion.
  • Defines project scope, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while maintaining disciplined financial oversight.
  • Establishes processes to monitor adherence to project timelines and budgets and communicates variances proactively.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience leading enterprise software implementations, tax technology projects, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-workstream engagements in a client-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial and operational acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
