About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plays a strategic role in supporting multifamily and commercial development projects through engineering analysis, energy consulting, and tax incentive optimization.
  • Analyzing building performance during pre-construction and development phases.
  • Conducting energy modeling and energy cost analyses.
  • Performing commercial building energy audits.
  • Preparing compliance and certification reports.
  • Works closely with developers, building owners, public entities, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities that increase energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability.
  • Provides data-driven recommendations that reduce operational costs, enhance building performance, and support compliance with energy and sustainability programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year Engineering college degree (Mechanical or Electrical) from an accredited institution in practice-relevant area with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
  • Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and be a team player.
  • Beginner’s knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Preference for candidates who have passed the Fundamental of Engineering Exam (FE).
