About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plays a strategic role in supporting multifamily and commercial development projects through engineering analysis, energy consulting, and tax incentive optimization.
Analyzing building performance during pre-construction and development phases.
Conducting energy modeling and energy cost analyses.
Performing commercial building energy audits.
Preparing compliance and certification reports.
Works closely with developers, building owners, public entities, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities that increase energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability.
Provides data-driven recommendations that reduce operational costs, enhance building performance, and support compliance with energy and sustainability programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Four-year Engineering college degree (Mechanical or Electrical) from an accredited institution in practice-relevant area with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and be a team player.
Beginner’s knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Valid driver’s license required.
Preference for candidates who have passed the Fundamental of Engineering Exam (FE).
