About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assisting with the inspection and measurement of commercial properties
- Supporting the preparation of floor plans and property records
- Conducting property and market research
- Assisting surveyors with the collection and analysis of valuation evidence
- Supporting the preparation of business rates assessment appeals
- Helping to formulate appeals and review supporting documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal databases
- Communicating with clients and colleagues both verbally and in writing
- Supporting the delivery of excellent client service
- Working collaboratively with the wider Property Tax team on live projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently studying towards a university degree in Real Estate, Property, Surveying, or a related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Commercial awareness and an interest in the property sector
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-player mindset
