About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive product underwriting strategy and align supporting talent and capital to drive results
Manage product line portfolio performance (premium, NB/renew, LR, loss drivers, geo mix, LOB mix, etc.)
Develop and maintain pricing models and associated data with pricing actuarial team
Attract, develop and retain UW talent; cascade authority when appropriate given capital partner commitments
Identify and maintain other critical external partnerships (e.g., TPA relationships, service providers, data providers, etc.) needed to deliver on the value prop for the product

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Actuarial or Business Administration required
10+ years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance underwriting
State P&C and/or surplus line license is required
Industry designations like Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), ARM, AU-M, etc., are a plus
