About the role
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure the company’s interests are protected and value is maximized.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Identify and mitigate potential vendor risks.
- Resolve any issues that may arise between the company and its vendors.
- Develop and implement improvements to vendor management processes.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure that they are meeting the company’s standards.
- Prepare and present reports on vendor performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure vendor alignment with company objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends and advancements to inform vendor selection and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field with 6 months to a year of related experience
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) is preferred.
