About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for administration of assigned projects, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports
  • Participate in owner/client sales presentations
  • Design development, budget preparation, and project schedule
  • Prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; prepare profit projections
  • Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports
  • Conduct project close-out duties, including final cost, punch list, final billing, and final collection of fees
  • Prepare owner contracts for review
  • Assist in navigation of permitting and entitlements process
  • Schedule and run key project milestone meetings
  • Work with superintendents to create and execute the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP)
  • Active engagement in a professional or community organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6 years of commercial construction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Minimum of six months of estimating/preconstruction and Field experience each
  • Good understanding of project management tools including Textura, Procore, Building Connected, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project types and complexities
  • Strong communication with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients
