Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing the planning, execution and completion of commercial construction projects.
- Working with project schedules, cost projections, contracts, project status reports & more.
- Leading construction progress meetings.
- Overseeing design development.
- Preparing and managing project budgets, profit projections, schedules & bid documents.
- Negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
- Conducting jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports.
- Working directly with owners/clients, field teams, subcontractors and various internal teams for support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management
- 4+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (healthcare experience preferred)
- Ability to travel for projects as needed
- Proven ability to manage light industrial projects including office/warehouse; retail and strip mall-type projects.
- Ability to begin to assume responsibility and effectively communicate with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients.
- Minimum of six months of estimating/preconstruction and Field experience.
