About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders
  • Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken
  • Update receivers and customers on load status
  • Monitor daily pickups and deliveries and verify timely, undamaged arrivals
  • Take check calls from drivers and ensure on-time delivery
  • Validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
  • Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages and complete documentation
  • Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments
  • Accept or decline loads based on account manager direction
  • Provide detailed routing directions and instructions to drivers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 1 year of logistics experience
  • General knowledge of the transportation industry
  • Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification
  • May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
