About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer HR policies and programs to assigned sites
- Work closely with plant operations and the HR team to ensure an open-door climate exists, resulting in excellent customer service
- Manage all aspects of the HR department and supervise staff members
- Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that impact overall effectiveness
- Compile reports and provide them to upper management
- Ensure HR office is in compliance with all corporate policies and directives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment at a manager level
- Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and time-keeping systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual English /Spanish
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
