About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ownership for monthly reporting of the division’s performance
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the monthly billing run and accrued income recognition process
  • Work with the commercial finance and wider business to review costs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Assistant Management Accountant, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance, particularly around new technologies
  • Producing monthly divisional reporting packs and commentary
  • Review and ownership of balance sheet reconciliations to agreed timelines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly
  • Manage statutory and group year-end audit requirements
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within the monthly reporting cycle to reduce close time and enhance control effectiveness.
  • Manage team delivery of financial reporting in line with month end timetable
  • Provide weekly cash flow forecasting for RVU London.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years post-qualified experience ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Experience in a technology-driven environment
  • Proven track record of driving and implementing process automation and efficiency improvements
  • Strong ability to partner with and influence non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Commercial Operations) to improve cross-functional processes
  • Strong excel / IT skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in the technology, internet, or finance sector is strongly desirable
  • Experience leveraging AI tools.
