About the role

  • Day to day management of the due diligence process, ensuring the process is efficient, assessments are timely and stakeholders are kept engaged and informed of progress throughout
  • Managing the Legal support portal via Jira
  • Managing continuous improvement of contract lifecycle processes and troubleshooting issues as they develop
  • Providing guidance, support and training to contract owners on the due diligence and lifecycle processes
  • Maintaining the current contract databases, ensuring accuracy of data
  • Creating, maintaining and evolving contract governance reporting and MI
  • Monitoring upcoming renewals and flagging these to contract owners
  • Tracking key performance indicators for contract governance
  • Provide administrative support to Legal team e.g. using Adobe Sign to send contracts for signature

Requirements

  • Experience working in a legal and/or procurement environment or with legal/procurement professionals
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate and analyse data to draw conclusions and identify trends
  • Ability to review and comprehend contracts, including key clauses and notice periods, ensuring a clear understanding of contractual obligations
  • Strong proficiency with with numbers, Excel and use of databases
  • An effective communicator who is comfortable communicating to stakeholders at all levels including excellent presentational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and ability to work with IT solutions to underpin and improve service delivery
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to balance competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexibly, use own initiative and work pro-actively
