About the role

  • Work strategically and hands-on across the entire product development cycle, from discovery through delivery and continuous iteration, including problem definition, hypotheses, research, journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototyping, accessibility, testing, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Lead discovery and solution-definition processes, facilitating activities, alignments, and workshops with different stakeholders (product, engineering, pedagogy, commercial, and others).
  • Evaluate and implement the use of generative and assistive AI tools in the design process, both to optimize work and to enhance deliverables.
  • Advocate for the user perspective, while considering business, technical, and social impact constraints, always proposing viable and scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a mentor and technical reference for other designers, sharing best practices, providing feedback, and actively contributing to the growth of the design team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, bringing trends, tools, and methodologies that add value to the team and the products.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Product Design, with a portfolio that demonstrates mastery of complex end-to-end projects.
  • Proficiency in UX and UI, with expertise in tools (we use Figma!) and methods such as qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, heuristics, interaction design, accessibility, design systems, and information architecture.
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, ChatGPT, DALL·E, Gemini, Lovable, etc.) to accelerate ideation, prototyping, visual creation, and testing.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly to different teams.
  • Analytical and discerning mindset, seeking to understand contexts and data, with empathy to put yourself in others' shoes;
