About the role

  • Conduct regular site inspections at our locations to ensure occupational health and safety and security standards
  • Plan and carry out UVV inspections and oversee legally required tests (e.g., DGUV Regulation 3)
  • Inspect and test work equipment, systems and devices, particularly in workshops and in building cleaning/facility cleaning operations
  • Prepare and update risk assessments in collaboration with the responsible managers
  • Organize and deliver safety briefings and training for employees
  • Maintain and update operating instructions, hazardous substance registers and other safety-related documentation
  • Organize and moderate Occupational Safety Committee (ASA) meetings and provide support in occupational safety, environmental and quality management
  • Ensure first-aid organization, coordinate fire wardens and monitor other safety-related measures

Requirements

  • Completed technical or vocational training (e.g., master craftsman/Meister, technician or an equivalent qualification)
  • Further training as an Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) required
  • Experience in occupational health and safety, workplace safety or technical inspections
  • Experience with audits and site inspections
  • Knowledge of quality or environmental management (ISO / Compliance)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., DGUV, UVV, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Industrial Safety Regulation)
  • Confident handling of documentation, risk assessments and safety briefings
  • Independent, structured and responsible way of working
  • Strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with employees and managers
  • Valid driving licence (Class B), as regular visits to company sites are required
