About the role
- Develop expertise in Rust Automation & Controls’ products and solutions.
- Prospect and sell products, solutions, and services to industrial and commercial accounts.
- Grow territory sales and margin through in-person visits, video calls, emails, texts, and phone calls.
- Re-engage dormant customers using multiple communication channels.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners through calls, emails, webinars, seminars, and on-site visits.
- Partner with the Sales Support Team to provide accurate and timely account information.
- Conduct site walk-downs to identify opportunities.
- Maintain a CRM database of accounts, contacts, opportunities, and projects.
- Effectively present solutions and collaborate with the team to execute strategies.
Requirements
- Technical degree or 2–3 years of industrial sales experience
- Ability to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight trips
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Salesforce, and other CRM tools
- Collaborative mindset to leverage internal resources for results
