About the role

  • Own and oversee occupational, officer, and vendor licensing processes, including due diligence and onboarding, by collecting, reviewing, and maintaining required documentation across jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and audit licensing records, vendor registrations, and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory readiness.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex licensing issues, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and mitigate compliance risks, escalating to the Licensing Compliance Manager as appropriate.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to Licensing Compliance Analysts, providing guidance on complex licensing requirements and regulatory interpretations.
  • Lead the development, optimization, and ongoing improvement of licensing schedules, workflows, and tracking systems to support timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage periodic regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions, including due date tracking, risk identification, and process improvement efforts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and People teams to ensure licensing activities and regulatory filings are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify regulatory and compliance risks and provide recommendations to leadership in partnership with the Licensing Compliance Manager.
  • Support company and key gaming license applications, contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in the licensing process.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable systems for managing contracts, legal files, and confidential regulatory communications.
  • Lead global employee data collection for licensing portals in partnership with the People team, ensuring data integrity and compliance with jurisdictional standards.
  • Own the new-hire licensing process, ensuring compliance requirements are seamlessly integrated into onboarding workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or a Paralegal Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of gaming licensing compliance experience required, or equivalent gaming regulatory compliance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing occupational, vendor, officer, or entity licensing requirements, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements, with a proven ability to handle sensitive and regulated information with a high level of integrity.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing regulatory and business needs.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive process improvements from identification through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, professional regulatory and compliance-related communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools, with the ability to independently manage documentation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor and support junior team members.
  • Relevant administrative, paralegal, or compliance-related experience is a plus.
  • Able to travel occasionally both domestically and international.
