Runware is building a leading API for all AI. Our platform makes it easy for developers to add advanced media generation capabilities to their products in hours instead of months, without the burden of managing GPUs, scaling, or constant model updates.
By combining custom hardware with optimized software and orchestration, we deliver unmatched speed, reliability, and cost efficiency across hundreds of thousands of models. Backed by top global investors, we’re growing quickly and building a team to shape the future of AI development.
About the role
We're looking for Developer Relations to be the technical voice connecting our media generation API with the developer community. You'll bridge the gap between our engineering team and the developers building on Runware—from indie creators to enterprise teams integrating our generation capabilities into their products.
First and foremost, you must be passionate about generative AI and able to demonstrate it through project links, technical content, open-source contributions, or other hands-on work. We’re looking for builders with some development experience. You don’t need to be a superstar engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and debugging code.
This is an intentionally broad role that will flex around your strengths. It could include creating educational content, debugging integrations, supporting developers, building SDKs and integrations, or representing Runware at events and hackathons. You might maintain SDKs or third-party integrations, build new integrations, or contribute workflow examples and tutorials. A key part of the role is bringing value to our ecosystem which could include being active in public — sharing your work, engaging with other developers, and making technical content visible across socials, forums, and communities. You’ll help Runware have a strong presence where developers already are.
More than just a job title, this is an invitation to join a company that’s spearheading the future of AI. We’re looking for people who want to partner with us, explore their passion for AI, and help other developers succeed. Your technical credibility with developers matters most. Everything else is flexible.
Is this role a fit for you?
If you’re unsure whether you tick every box below but you’re excited by AI and have something to show, we’d love to hear from you. This role is designed to flex around the right people. If you’ve built projects, contributed to communities, or simply can’t stop experimenting with generative AI, you already have what matters most. We are even open to freelancers who may just want to contribute in one specific area. Apply and let’s explore how your passion can grow with Runware.
What this role could entail
Write and share technical content — blog posts, guides, videos, and walkthroughs — and distribute it across socials, forums, and developer communities
Actively manage and grow our developer community across Discord, Reddit, and social platforms, including hosting office hours, AMAs, workshops, and spotlighting community projects
Represent Runware at conferences, hackathons, and developer events, and support inbound interest by helping developers go from first experiment to production usage
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for developers using our API across community channels such as Discord, GitHub, and forums, while surfacing documentation gaps and collaborating with the team to improve clarity
Maintain and build our SDKs, plugins, and third-party integrations like ComfyUI or Vercel, and create sample projects, code examples, and workflow tutorials
Requirements
First and foremost: you are extremely passionate about AI, particularly generative AI or media generation, and can demonstrate this through project links, technical content, open-source contributions, hackathons, or other hands-on work
Some development experience. Comfortable working with schemas, APIs, and full-stack concepts (backend and frontend). The exact languages or frameworks you’ve used matter less than your ability to build and explain working solutions
Experience experimenting with AI technologies such as training LoRAs, building advanced workflows in ComfyUI, or integrating AI models into projects
A blend of coding ability and AI know-how. You can navigate developer tooling and generative AI workflows, even if you’re not a senior specialist in either
Excellent technical writing skills. Able to explain complex concepts clearly for developers, and actively share that content across forums, socials, and developer communities
Active in developer ecosystems from AI/ML Discord servers and GitHub to hackathons, meetups, or developer events. Comfortable representing and amplifying technical work in public
