Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value cloud infrastructure agreements
Negotiate payment schedules, cost structures against cash flow, and strategic credit discounts
Manage relationships with critical suppliers and secure favorable infrastructure terms
Act as the primary liaison between Procurement and Legal
Review complex contract clauses and translate commercial requirements into legal frameworks
Streamline contract execution with legal counsel
Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals
Forecast expenses, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive continuous cost improvements
Work with engineering teams and finance leadership to understand technical requirements
Align procurement strategies with product delivery timelines and company growth goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive, proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle
Strong experience negotiating and completing complicated, enterprise-level contracts
Deep familiarity with financial structuring within contracts
Ability to leverage payment terms, balance capital expenditures against cash flow, and maximize value through credit discounting
Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal language
Working-level knowledge of contract law
Working-level knowledge of FP&A
Ability to tackle supply chain bottlenecks and challenging vendor dynamics
Ability to creatively structure financially beneficial deals
Successful completion of a background check
Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services in datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology preferred
Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment preferred
Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law preferred
