About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic negotiations and high-complexity contracting processes related to Infrastructure Works, Superstructure, Ports, Terminals and Facilities;
- Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s operational and financial criticality;
- Ensure mitigation of operational, financial and contractual risks associated with the area’s critical categories;
- Influence decisions with internal stakeholder teams, supporting strategy definition, scope and prioritization of requests;
- Structure productivity initiatives, total cost reduction programs and supply chain transformation projects;
- Develop strategic relationships with critical suppliers to promote innovation, efficiency and contractual evolution;
- Ensure governance, compliance and sustainability of procurement processes;
- Support the technical development of the team and strengthen the maturity of the procurement unit.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate/MBA in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics or related fields is desirable.
- Engineering degree will be considered a plus.
- Experience in strategic procurement and high-complexity negotiations;
- Experience with categories such as Works, Infrastructure, Superstructure, Ports, Terminals and Facilities;
- Intermediate English;
- Experience working for construction contractors, project management companies or on the client/owner side will be an advantage.
