About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement and sustain the federated data and analytics governance model, ensuring data quality, compliance and clear ownership, and ensuring corporate data is well-defined, documented, reliable and understood across the organization.
  • Create and maintain a data catalog in collaboration with business areas.
  • Ensure data lineage and ownership; define data owners, train them and lead Technical Committees.
  • Support domains in documentation and monitor quality standards.
  • Define data governance policies while maintaining the federated model (central + domains).
  • Define data quality, classification and usage rules and ensure compliance with LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Experience in data governance.
  • Experience with data cataloging and metadata management.
  • Knowledge of compliance and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
  • Solid experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with cataloging tools (AWS Glue Data Catalog, SageMaker Studio, etc.).
