About the role
- Support the execution of the annual SOX cycle, including monitoring requests and tracking the schedule
- Support internal and external audit processes by organizing information and following up on requests
- Assist in assessing control deficiencies, including impact analysis and supporting the definition of remediation plans
- Monitor and update action plans, ensuring follow-up and adherence to deadlines
- Support maintenance of the SOX Control Matrix and the Process Control Matrix (non‑SOX)
- Support the internal controls self-assessment process with business areas
- Work together with ITGC (IT General Controls) teams and other areas to ensure alignment and consistency of controls
- Contribute to area improvement initiatives, including process and tooling enhancements
- Manage access and governance activities, including analysis for granting and reviewing access profiles
- Support the update of training materials and content for the internal controls academy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
- Previous experience in internal controls or related areas
- Intermediate knowledge of the SOX environment
- Experience with internal or external auditing
- Strong organizational skills and process analysis capability
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience in regulated environments or publicly traded companies (plus)
- Experience with control testing or audit support (plus)
