About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform critical analysis of evidence and develop litigation strategies;
Draft legal opinions and technical memoranda;
Attend hearings and deliver oral arguments;
Monitor electronic case files and manage deadlines;
Hold alignment meetings with clients to provide case updates;
Monitor legal risks and identify settlement opportunities;
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts (service agreements, leases, supply, partnership, confidentiality, etc.);
Support the structuring of straightforward commercial and corporate transactions;
Provide preventive counsel on issues such as civil liability, breach of contract, contractual compliance, and B2B relationships;
Conduct contractual and legal due diligence;
Assist companies in managing their contract portfolios and standardizing contract templates.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) with active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association);
Solid knowledge of Civil Law, Contract Law, and Civil Procedure;
Experience providing legal counsel to companies and strategic litigation practice.
