About the role
- Analyze clients' operations and interpret applicable legislation to correctly determine indirect (ICMS, ISSQN, PIS/COFINS) and direct (IRPJ and CSLL) taxation
- Prepare, review and amend ancillary tax filings, such as EFD-Contribuições, EFD-ICMS, ECF, DCTF, PER/DCOMP, among others
- Develop tax data compilations for scenario analysis and identification of lawful opportunities
- Participate in audits and compliance activities related to tax calculations
- Contribute to strategic and operational tax planning studies for clients
- Work in task forces focused on the development of new tax solutions
- Perform calculations and map the practical impacts of judicial actions on tax matters
- Assist in the preparation of technical opinions, reports and presentations for internal use and for clients
- Respond to audits from State and Federal Tax Authorities and support the preparation of defenses
- Provide client service both remotely and in person.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Good command of commonly used Microsoft Office functionalities
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, ISSQN, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ and CSLL)
- Experience with ancillary tax filings and fiscal routines
- Analytical profile with logical reasoning, good communication skills and ability to interpret legislation
- Personal qualities such as adaptability, continuous learning, teamwork, commitment and resilience.
