About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Strategic and operational development of individual product areas within the Rulemapping platform in alignment with the overall product vision
Derive product objectives, roadmaps and priorities from the platform strategy and align closely with other Product Owners and relevant stakeholders
End-to-end responsibility for Product Discovery and Delivery – from problem definition through validation and concepting to release and continuous improvement
Analyze user, customer and market requirements and translate them into structured product concepts, prioritized backlogs, user stories and clear acceptance criteria
Provide product leadership in an interdisciplinary setup with Engineering, Design and QA in an agile environment
Continuously maintain and prioritize the backlog taking into account product metrics, user feedback and strategic goals
Ensure product quality in day-to-day operations and prioritize changes, incidents and technical improvements
Active stakeholder management between business, engineering, customers and, where applicable, community partners
Contribute to cross-platform topics such as modularization, interfaces, integrations and scalability in close coordination with Engineering and product leadership
Drive continuous improvement of the product areas based on defined KPIs and take ownership of product-related Key Results within our OKR framework

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years (ideally 5+ years) of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product role in a SaaS environment
Demonstrable strategic and operational product responsibility – from Discovery to Release
Conceptual and strategic thinking as well as solid technical understanding (e.g., APIs, platform architecture, integrations, scalable systems)
Experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and managing complex backlogs
Data-driven working style and use of product metrics as the basis for prioritization and decision-making
Clear and structured communication across different levels and confident stakeholder management
Self-driven, structured and solution-oriented way of working
Very good German (at least C1) and very good English (at least C1)
Experience in GovTech, LegalTech or regulated industries is an advantage but not required
