About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a leader in our digital armor, driving product-based implementations that enable us to fulfill, audit, measure, and enforce critical Trust & Safety policies across both internal and external-facing users and workflows.
- Help lead the charge on both product architecture and operational, process-based solutions—building robust custom tools and leveraging top-tier industry solutions to investigate and mitigate threats like fraud, billing anomalies, and credential abuse.
- Establish a brand-new engineering domain from the ground up, mentor other engineers, and build scalable systems that directly protect a vital mental health ecosystem.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of SWE experience, 1+ years working on Trust & Safety systems & 1+ years of experience helping with a brand new project or team
- Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups
- Fullstack experience building modern database-backed (sql/no-sql) web applications
- Microservice development knowledge and experience
- A passion for and ownership of mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
- Have driven all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, and measuring success, post-launch maintenance
- Examples of working on highly complex projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results
- Start-up experience
- Experience developing SaaS applications using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
- Previous experience in products with high reliability/accuracy requirements (finance, mission critical systems, etc.)
- Experience with “on-call”, ability to deep dive complex issues and drive them to resolution independently
- Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka
