About the role

  • Build Rula’s first mobile apps from the ground up using React Native for iOS and Android
  • Define the technical foundation, establish best practices, and guide mobile strategy
  • Work closely with design and product partners to launch patient-facing mobile experiences
  • Drive AI-enabled experiences that enhance the human connection in therapy and scale the AI product portfolio
  • Shape Rula’s mobile strategy and impact how patients and providers interact with the platform

Requirements

  • 8+ years software engineering experience, including 4+ years professional mobile development.
  • 3+ years of experience with React Native
  • Familiarity with iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) native modules
  • Proven track record in shipping production of mobile apps end-to-end
  • Experience setting up CI/CD for mobile
  • Experience as a founding or early engineer at a high-growth startup (preferred)
  • Experience mentoring engineers and scaling a mobile org (preferred)
  • Experience working on 0→1 mobile products. (preferred)
