About the role

  • Further development of our data and reporting platform based on Microsoft Fabric & Power BI
  • Design and operation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) for data integration and processing
  • Implementation of a medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) in a lakehouse/warehouse environment
  • Connecting and integrating data from various source systems, e.g., SQL Server, REST APIs and other interfaces
  • Technical support of the platform: capacity monitoring, error analysis, performance optimization
  • Provision of clean, documented data products for Power BI (e.g., tables, views)

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification — ideally with relevant professional experience in data and BI engineering
  • Practical experience with a common cloud ETL tool — initial experience with tools such as MS Fabric, Snowflake or similar is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data processing and analysis
  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and tailored to the audience
  • Analytical and innovative mindset, with an independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken; English skills are a plus
