About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support product lifecycle management and provide Software Configuration Management program support
- Perform tasks according to the program’s configuration and data management plan
- Identify configurations
- Coordinate Engineering Review Boards
- Administer software version-control repositories
- Capture and release software builds and documentation
- Manage software licenses
- Support internal and external audits
- Process media requests
- Review documentation for accuracy according to program procedures
- Collaborate regularly with the larger Configuration Management team
- Communicate task status and support team goals
- Work after hours during peak periods when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top-Secret U.S. security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- General knowledge and understanding of configuration management and software development concepts
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Detail-oriented with ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of product structures
- Familiarity with Common PDM
- Familiarity with ClearQuest, ClearCase, Subversion, Git, GitHub, Jira, and Pipeline Genkins
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps software development
- Understanding of automation scripting concepts
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with Perl and Python scripting
- Knowledge of or ability to learn scrum master responsibilities
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Ability to meet challenging, short-turn, and high-pressure deadlines
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to operate self-guided with some supervision
- Capability to adapt swiftly to new tools and technologies
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance preferred
