About the role

  • Develop portfolio-level insights and recommendations
  • Partner with SBUs to understand markets, customers, and competitive environments
  • Translate enterprise strategy into unit-specific guidance
  • Facilitate workshops and structured discussions
  • Build business cases, scenario models, and sensitivity analyses
  • Assess mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances
  • Develop presentations, decision memos, and visual storytelling assets for senior leadership
  • Create analytical tools, dashboards, and strategy frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10+ years of experience
  • Significant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or comparable strategic leadership
  • Background in a top-tier consulting firm and/or internal corporate strategy team
  • Recent hands-on aerospace and defense sector experience
  • Strong understanding of market structure, customers, and competitive dynamics
  • Experience leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives under tight timelines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior executives
  • Advanced analytical capability in data analysis, business case development, market assessments, sensitivity modeling, and strategic visualization
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active and existing Top Secret DoD security clearance required after day 1
