About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the CTES CH-47F Chinook Platform Systems team
  • Participate in avionics engineering tasks associated with the design, development, integration, and test of platform and software applications
  • Learn and use requirements capture, peer review, configuration management, and AGILE development tools
  • Execute requirements-based testing, robustness testing, and Ad-Hoc testing onsite in a lab environment
  • Support requirements capture
  • Assist in decomposing customer specifications and system-level requirements into subsystem requirements
  • Support cross-functional team development including customer stakeholders and domain engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment
  • Relocation is not offered
