About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide financial reporting, accounting, and analytical support for the International Aero Engines AG organization
- Manage complete and accurate monthly STAT and GAAP closing within prescribed timeframes
- Consolidate financial results of all entities and submit results to collaborators, including Pratt & Whitney
- Analyze and post journal entries
- Ensure the ledger and SAP/HFM are accurate and reconciled timely
- Manage inventory details, transactions, and related accounting
- Provide support and financial data to Pratt & Whitney’s sub-collaborators
- Maintain and manage the fixed assets ledger for assets worth over $100M+
- Analyze financial data with various organizational groups to identify financial best practices
- Coordinate additional year-end and quarterly reporting requirements, including variance analysis
- Support special projects
- Interact with Pratt & Whitney Controllers, external auditors, internal auditors, and collaborators
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Strong data analytics skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or teams at all levels
- U.S. citizenship required
- Proficiency with SAP, OneStream, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
- Experience driving positive changes within an organization preferred
