About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of 8–15 engineers developing and integrating variable-fidelity simulation models
Oversee kill-chain simulation testbeds operating in real-time or faster-than-real-time
Integrate simulation testbeds into distributed Live, Virtual, and Constructive test environments
Generate virtual and analytical solutions to identify technology gaps and demonstrate operational benefits
Support requirements development and testing of system behaviors
Develop and visualize solutions as a leader and individual contributor
Own execution of assigned work, technical product delivery, schedules, and requirements
Perform line-management responsibilities including performance appraisal, salary planning, career development, and staffing allocation
Ensure compliance with company policies and organizational standards
Collaborate with internal, external, government, and contractor stakeholders
Communicate direction to the team and report status to Raytheon leadership
Define requirements, participate in tool development, and evaluate end-to-end kill-chain system needs
Model mission and system kill chains using government, commercial, and Raytheon tools
Present tools, capabilities, and analytical results to customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, Design of Experiments, or Military Operations Analysis
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required before start date
U.S. citizenship required
Experience with Raytheon, government, or industry modeling and simulation tools preferred
Experience implementing DIS, HLA, or TENA simulation protocols preferred
Experience modeling sensing systems or effectors preferred
Experience with statistical analysis, DOE, or data analytics preferred
Experience developing or evaluating CONOPS, campaign, engagement, or mission models preferred
Active DoD Top Secret clearance preferred
