About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop comprehensive project management plans
Drive project progress, task completion, milestone achievement, and timeline adherence
Manage and allocate resources throughout the project lifecycle
Identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks, with real-time alerts for critical issues
Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members
Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals
Manage multiple difficult and complex projects, tasks, and resources through organization, prioritization, and time management
Travel approximately 25%-50% to other major RTX U.S. sites
Follow project management processes and best practices to align tasks, activities, and resources with program and organizational goals
Support oneRTX Process & Systems Transformation, including harmonization of processes, tools, and metrics and deployment of SAP S/4 HANA

Requirements

What you’ll need

University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, OR 12 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree
Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, Jira, or similar tools
CORE or equivalent certification/experience, such as Six Sigma or Change Management, and project management experience
Experience with waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies
Preferred: leading and managing change in a matrix and team environment across process and digital lines of business
Preferred: agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects
Preferred: working in fast-paced, demanding environments while managing multiple activities concurrently
Preferred: guiding and influencing multiple organizational levels, including executive leadership
Preferred: SAP knowledge and prior implementation experience
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications
U.S. citizenship is required to access certain necessary systems
