About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support programs on Software Development Lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, code, and testing
- Coordinate closely with Collins Aerospace system/software engineers to drive unified goals
- Support the system integration pipeline to automate and optimize development and deployment of complex military avionics systems
- Research and select modern tooling for the development pipeline
- Integrate tooling, applications, and scripts into the development pipeline
- Research and select technologies to enable automation and increase flow
- Develop small applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates
- Create frameworks to automate software testing, deployment, and delivery
- Perform design, development, integration, and verification activities for Military Avionics solutions
- Travel, if required, estimated at less than 10% of the year
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English, verbally and in writing
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Must be residing in Puerto Rico when employment starts
- Relocation is not offered
