About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support programs on Software Development Lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, code, and testing
Coordinate closely with Collins Aerospace system/software engineers to drive unified goals
Support the system integration pipeline to automate and optimize development and deployment of complex military avionics systems
Research and select modern tooling for the development pipeline
Integrate tooling, applications, and scripts into the development pipeline
Research and select technologies to enable automation and increase flow
Develop small applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates
Create frameworks to automate software testing, deployment, and delivery
Perform design, development, integration, and verification activities for Military Avionics solutions
Travel, if required, estimated at less than 10% of the year

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English, verbally and in writing
U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Must be residing in Puerto Rico when employment starts
Relocation is not offered
