About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product area EVMS efforts, including establishing and maintaining program execution budget baselines, collecting actual cost, and analyzing performance
- Drive monthly EVMS cadence, including budget change maintenance, latest revised cost estimates, and cost and schedule variance analysis
- Coordinate and execute quarterly Estimates at Complete per company policy
- Develop and present Long Range Plans, Annual Operating Plans, and monthly financial forecasts
- Analyze backlog, revenue, profit, and free cash flow metrics
- Ensure timely cash billings to customers
- Prepare and present financial information in program management reviews, operating reviews, financial overviews, and other reporting activities
- Provide contract funding analysis to support uninterrupted program execution
- Support new business proposal pricing efforts and proposal gate reviews
- Train and develop Finance team members and other product area team members
- Manage the financial performance of the ICP Portfolio of cost-type contracts with projected annual sales of approximately $60M
- Interact with Program Area Directors, Program Managers, functional partners, and customer finance and contracts representatives
- Lead a team of financial professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 8 years of finance-related work experience; OR an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of finance-related work experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Cost & Schedule Controls, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes
- Experience with financial forecasting, including bookings, revenue/sales, profit, and/or net cash
- Experience with SAP APEX, RPlan, and/or EDIT+, or similar financial management tools
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. person status, or qualifying U.S. immigration status required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract
- Ability to work under deadlines and constraints and multitask across program requirements
- Ability to provide top-level program planning and control guidance and present information to all levels of management
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and recruit strong financial talent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams
- Knowledge of general financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Preferred location within commutable distance of Andover, MA; Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; or McKinney, TX
