About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support subcontract management, document drafting, cross-functional communication, and data entry for the Military Engines Contracts Management Organization
  • Serve as subcontracting lead for supplier RFP development, negotiations, subcontract agreements, execution, and daily administration
  • Ensure supplier compliance with prime contract terms, FAR/DFARS flow-downs, and company policy
  • Manage subcontract scope, funding, delivery schedules, changes, and modifications
  • Review supplier proposals for completeness, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with prime contract requirements
  • Drive closure of subcontract-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Support fact-finding, price/cost analysis, and supplier negotiations
  • Draft statements of work, amendments, change orders, and related subcontract documents
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Program Counsel
  • Provide leadership, expertise, and innovative solutions to complex issues while working independently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of subcontract or contract management experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of subcontract or contract management experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, including government subcontracting requirements
  • Experience preparing, evaluating, and negotiating supplier proposals
  • Strong analytical, document drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues
  • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
