About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support subcontract management, document drafting, cross-functional communication, and data entry for the Military Engines Contracts Management Organization
Serve as subcontracting lead for supplier RFP development, negotiations, subcontract agreements, execution, and daily administration
Ensure supplier compliance with prime contract terms, FAR/DFARS flow-downs, and company policy
Manage subcontract scope, funding, delivery schedules, changes, and modifications
Review supplier proposals for completeness, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with prime contract requirements
Drive closure of subcontract-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Support fact-finding, price/cost analysis, and supplier negotiations
Draft statements of work, amendments, change orders, and related subcontract documents
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Program Counsel
Provide leadership, expertise, and innovative solutions to complex issues while working independently

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of subcontract or contract management experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of subcontract or contract management experience
U.S. citizenship required
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, including government subcontracting requirements
Experience preparing, evaluating, and negotiating supplier proposals
Strong analytical, document drafting, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues
Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
