About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Design, implement, and establish software integration processes and DevSecOps best practices
- Lead software integration activities with stakeholders
- Troubleshoot complex software integration, software stability, and performance issues
- Define pipeline use cases and align portfolio services to those use cases
- Align use cases across multiple development teams and business organizations
- Define DevSecOps reference workflows to improve product development efficiency
- Influence pipeline team decisions and drive consensus around the One Collins Pipeline vision
- Coordinate technical scope, need dates, maturity levels, and dependencies for pipeline use cases
- Lead internal and external communications related to software integration and release
- Ensure adoption plans are in place for scaling pipeline use cases
- Apply advanced software testing techniques
- Identify and implement metrics for compliance, integration, and verification
- Lead the software integration team in resolving complex technical issues
- Collaborate with operations, quality, program management, and other cross-functional teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Extensive experience with software development methodologies, version control systems, and build automation tools
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and deployment tools such as Crossplane is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS and Azure is an advantage
- Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher is an advantage
- Industry experience with GitLab, GitHub, Ansible, Crossplane, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Grafana, and related tools preferred
- Proficiency in test frameworks and testing methodologies
- Experience writing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code systems
- Experience with secrets managers such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets, and Azure Key Vault
- Agile Project Management skills preferred
