About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting journal entries and related financial analysis
  • Prepare accurate and timely general ledger account reconciliations
  • Support compliance with internal controls and internal and external audits
  • Lead process and system improvements to support growing volume
  • Coordinate with external program partners to provide accounting results
  • Fund external program partners for their portions of program revenues and expenses
  • Consolidate monthly activity for A220 partner package reporting
  • Support special projects and ad hoc requirements
  • Enhance work processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Work cross-functionally to support program changes
  • Provide accounting and reporting assistance to FP&A and Partnership and Program Finance for new business deals, forecasting, and peak reporting periods
  • Interact with Financial Planning & Analysis, Contracts, Partnership and Program Finance, Manufacturing and Operations Management, Aftermarket Accounting, internal and external auditors, and external collaborators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and strong attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, and CoPilot preferred
