About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Product Owner of PWE Operations, providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of PWE processes, tools, and training
  • Assess PWE processes, tools, and training for improvement and lead development of resolutions
  • Organize, direct, and oversee a matrixed team by prioritizing, deconflicting requests, and assigning resources
  • Manage PWE-wide communication methods, including SharePoint pages, newsletters, and town halls
  • Drive consistent application of operational processes across functional pillars through stakeholder alignment, training, and communications
  • Align key stakeholders on operational prioritization decisions
  • Represent PWE in strategic discussions
  • Ensure data integrity of databases, data repositories, Jira, tracking methods, metrics, and dashboards
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and drive PWE adoption across the business
  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams supporting several concurrent objectives
  • Provide direction and guidance across PWE and business partner stakeholders
  • May take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Travel up to 30%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
  • Experience working in closed areas or secure lab environments
  • Understanding of government security-based regulations, protocols, and build standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage groups of people to accomplish complex objectives in a multi-disciplined, matrixed environment
  • Substantial knowledge of Collins Aerospace secure programs and projects
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance preferred
  • Experience across Security, Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, Facilities, and Lab Management or related fields preferred
  • Experience managing projects using Agile methods preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining business process documentation preferred
  • Experience creating, delivering, and maintaining training solutions preferred
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills preferred
  • Ability to recognize resource constraints and prioritize team efforts preferred
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex business problems and develop creative solutions preferred
  • Familiarity with Jira Service Manager, Confluence, SharePoint, and Power BI reporting tools preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with stakeholders and tight deadlines preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate and adapt complex information to audiences at all organizational levels, including senior executives preferred
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to collaborate with leadership, technical, and business personnel preferred
