About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead capital supply chain activities and advise Supply Chain Management and Capital Program Management Office leadership on material strategies and plans
Support development of Statements of Work for equipment, tooling, and manufacturing systems with milestones
Track capital supply chain budgets and material forecasting
Organize and track project deliverables, Key Performance Milestones, and Supplier/Contract Data Requirements
Coordinate and lead technical reviews with internal teams and suppliers, including PDR, CDR, FAT, and SAT
Support supplier selection, proposal evaluations, and technical assessments during sourcing events
Develop and execute risk mitigation plans for factory and capital team objectives
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance
Lead Design to Cost and Cost Reduction Initiative supply chain activities
Execute the Material Program Strategy and Material Program Plan from front-end business through contract closure
Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Integrated Product Team
Travel domestically up to 20% of the time
Apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory-related, and cross-departmental processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related work
Experience working with technical requirements and Supplier Statements of Work
U.S. citizenship required
Experience working with suppliers
Knowledge of capital equipment lifecycle, including specification development, sourcing, supplier kickoff, and factory acceptance
Experience ensuring supplier project deliverables and commitments are achieved
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems
Ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts
Domestic travel availability up to 20%
