About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead capital supply chain activities and advise Supply Chain Management and Capital Program Management Office leadership on material strategies and plans
  • Support development of Statements of Work for equipment, tooling, and manufacturing systems with milestones
  • Track capital supply chain budgets and material forecasting
  • Organize and track project deliverables, Key Performance Milestones, and Supplier/Contract Data Requirements
  • Coordinate and lead technical reviews with internal teams and suppliers, including PDR, CDR, FAT, and SAT
  • Support supplier selection, proposal evaluations, and technical assessments during sourcing events
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation plans for factory and capital team objectives
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance
  • Lead Design to Cost and Cost Reduction Initiative supply chain activities
  • Execute the Material Program Strategy and Material Program Plan from front-end business through contract closure
  • Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Integrated Product Team
  • Travel domestically up to 20% of the time
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory-related, and cross-departmental processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related work
  • Experience working with technical requirements and Supplier Statements of Work
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Knowledge of capital equipment lifecycle, including specification development, sourcing, supplier kickoff, and factory acceptance
  • Experience ensuring supplier project deliverables and commitments are achieved
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems
  • Ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma concepts
  • Domestic travel availability up to 20%
