About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and manage a Digital deployment model for experienced Program Managers and Project Managers
  • Maintain an enterprise bench of senior delivery professionals
  • Rapidly deploy experienced leaders to strategic initiatives, executive priorities, recovery efforts, and emerging business demands
  • Support Portfolio Managers with complex demand intake and business case development
  • Provide interim leadership for critical programs experiencing delivery challenges
  • Ensure deployment readiness across global PMO resources
  • Anticipate future strategic capability needs with Resource Management
  • Assess organizational strengths and capability gaps across global PMO teams
  • Develop multi-year capability roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Identify future skills across Portfolio, Program, and Project Management
  • Recommend organizational structure enhancements and drive succession planning
  • Partner with HR on recruitment, career paths, and leadership development
  • Measure organizational capability maturity and workforce readiness
  • Evaluate readiness for major transformation programs and support executive portfolio planning
  • Develop deployment strategies for large-scale initiatives
  • Coordinate enterprise responses to emerging strategic demands and identify capability and capacity execution risks
  • Lead Digital integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships
  • Coordinate integration planning, temporary governance, senior PM deployment, and executive integration reviews
  • Drive adoption of new organizational capabilities and support operating model evolution
  • Promote enterprise collaboration, continuous improvement, and partnerships across Business and Digital organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 12+ years of progressively responsible experience; OR a Master's degree and 10+ years of such experience
  • Minimum 5 years leading enterprise-level PMO, Portfolio Management, Program Management Office, or Business Transformation organizations
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional Digital transformation initiatives supporting business-critical capabilities
  • Experience establishing organizational capability improvement strategies across Portfolio, Program, and Project Management disciplines
  • Experience supporting executive leadership in strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, organizational readiness, and business transformation initiatives
  • Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar portfolios with multiple concurrent programs across global teams
  • Proven experience building high-performing delivery organizations, mentoring senior Program Managers, and developing future leadership pipelines
  • Experience across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Preferred experience in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or similarly regulated industries
  • Preferred Project & Portfolio Management experience and certifications including PMP, PgMP, PfMP, RTE, SAFe LPM, SPC, PMI-ACP, or CSP
