About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer logistics employees responsible for pre-posturing and placing orders of F-135 unit-level parts to military bases and multi-use/depot sites
  • Foster accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration, and employee engagement
  • Support talent management activities
  • Establish team priorities, assign workloads, and monitor daily operational performance
  • Ensure customer requirements, service, and contractual commitments are achieved
  • Drive Unit Level and Depot Level fill rates and Gross Issue Effectiveness (GIE)
  • Analyze trends, remove operational barriers, and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor spares forecasts and usage at operational sites and Multi-Use Warehouses (MUWs)
  • Coordinate spares redistribution actions to satisfy forecasted demand
  • Direct planning and execution of initial Base Support Packages (BSPs) for new site activations
  • Manage return of unserviceable assets from unit-level sites back to HFFR

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree
  • 8 years of experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Logistics Management, or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in these areas
  • U.S. Person status required
  • Minimum 5+ years of aerospace/defense supply support experience preferred
  • Advanced logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of PW/Raytheon Technologies internal supply policies, practices, and standard work highly desired
  • Proficiency in the complete range of SAP spares-related transactions highly desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP, highly desired
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to organize, logically analyze, and present spares information from several information systems
  • Security clearance is not required
