About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement software and infrastructure enabling scalable and secure AI applications across RTX
- Develop cloud-agnostic software for AWS, Azure, and on-premises Kubernetes clusters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and ensure successful delivery
- Build internal SDKs, APIs, and microservices supporting AI workflows across hybrid environments
- Write clean, testable, efficient, well-documented code focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Integrate platform tools with identity management, logging, and governance systems
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Collaborate across remote teams in a highly regulated, security-conscious environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform
- Experience developing and maintaining reusable Helm charts, manifests, and deployment templates
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and delivery
- Ability to apply GitOps practices using Argo CD
- Understanding of AI/ML tools, data, agent, and API management platforms
- Additional language experience with Node.js or Go preferred
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and AIOps strategies preferred
- Containerization and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity, define technical direction, and drive end-to-end solutions
- Demonstrated deep technical curiosity and initiative
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- No security clearance is required
