About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and support Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and negotiate selected rates into Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRA)
  • Maintain compliant cost accounting practices for business units and the home office
  • Maintain the government accounting framework, including translating performance accounting to government cost accounting
  • Develop, analyze, and submit actual rates versus FPRP/FPRA
  • Prepare, submit, and analyze the annual Incurred Cost Submission for establishing final billing rate agreements
  • Interface with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on forward pricing rates, billing rates, incurred cost, and related audits
  • Develop subject-matter expertise and leadership within the Collins Government Accounting organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical skills and ability to summarize analyses and communicate at various levels
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities and producing quality work within required timeframes
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, SAP, Hyperion, and/or OneStream preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) cost principles preferred
  • Prior association or interaction with DCAA and DCMA preferred
