About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business process for the Opportunity to Cash workstream across customer management, order management, and order pricing
  • Partner with Digital and business units to evaluate and implement SAP and complementary tools for process optimization
  • Analyze blueprinting recommendations with business-unit workstream leads to support Global Design strategic goals
  • Maintain the Business Process Hierarchy
  • Maintain the project plan for assigned responsibilities
  • Lead planning to establish scope, timeline, and resource plans for assigned Opportunity to Cash processes
  • Drive blueprinting activities, including global process designs, standardized metrics and reporting, common information model, global template, and readiness testing
  • Partner with business units and the system integrator across project phases
  • Communicate across disciplines and with executive leaders while influencing adoption of new concepts and practices
  • Align strategy with specific goals, tactics, action plans, and deliverables; track and report progress at executive and working-team levels
  • Travel approximately 10–25%, primarily to RTX sites in Texas and Connecticut

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree
  • Experience with large-scale SAP system implementation projects
  • Experience with quote and order management, customer management, order pricing, and returns management
  • Experience communicating across disciplines and with executive leaders
  • Ability to influence adoption of new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Cross-functional knowledge of multiple work areas preferred
  • CORE or equivalent and project management expertise preferred
  • Understanding of SAP integrations and handoff points between R2R, O2C, and P2S preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment and manage multiple concurrent activities
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–25%
  • U.S. citizenship required because access to certain systems is limited to U.S. citizens
  • Ability to work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
