About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation processes, and processing supplier submissions of nonconforming material
Manage and support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification
Manage source inspection and material release processes
Perform escape management, drive root cause analysis and problem solving, and recommend corrective and preventive actions for systemic supplier process and product material issues
Support RTX supplier programs for continuous improvement and sustainability
Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies
Implement quality tools including PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, and SPC
Ensure suppliers can meet contract requirements, including Resourcing Gate, PPAP acceptance, and Work Transfer implementation
Influence stakeholders to follow ideas and proposals
Build and develop effective cross-functional teamwork
Travel up to 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need

University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Background in Electronics
6+ years of professional experience in a supply chain operations environment, or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external executives and employees
Knowledge of system standards, authorities, regulations, standards, QMS, auditing/assessing, and risk management
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
IPC standards certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field preferred
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education
Must be a U.S. Person
Ability to travel up to 50%
