About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate across Raytheon and RTX business units to develop analytic products for agile delivery across functional and program areas using AWS and Azure platforms
Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership
Serve as a technical authority and mentor for data scientists, analysts, and business partners
Influence organizational standards by researching and deploying technical solutions for business partners
Apply commercial software development processes, including code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, and MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience with Python development, including numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn, for statistical and/or machine learning applications beyond academic examples
Experience with relational database management and SQL development
Experience presenting to executive-level management across functional and company areas
Experience applying quantitative techniques such as normalization, standardization, and applied statistics to cleanse and explore large, complex datasets
U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract
Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
Preferred: experience identifying strategic use cases with business stakeholders; designing, training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs; Scaled Agile Framework methodology; PyTorch or TensorFlow; Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
