About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate across Raytheon and RTX business units to develop analytic products for agile delivery across functional and program areas using AWS and Azure platforms
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership
- Serve as a technical authority and mentor for data scientists, analysts, and business partners
- Influence organizational standards by researching and deploying technical solutions for business partners
- Apply commercial software development processes, including code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, and MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Experience with Python development, including numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn, for statistical and/or machine learning applications beyond academic examples
- Experience with relational database management and SQL development
- Experience presenting to executive-level management across functional and company areas
- Experience applying quantitative techniques such as normalization, standardization, and applied statistics to cleanse and explore large, complex datasets
- U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract
- Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
- Preferred: experience identifying strategic use cases with business stakeholders; designing, training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs; Scaled Agile Framework methodology; PyTorch or TensorFlow; Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
