About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform full range of process such as disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of aircraft components.
- Independently diagnose and resolve technical issues using comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems.
- Certify completed maintenance work in compliance with FAA, EASA, or other relevant regulatory authorities.
- Perform root cause analysis for component failures and provide expert recommendations.
- Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and proper use of precision tools, equipment, and test rigs.
- Act as a technical mentor and trainer for Technicians, Junior Technicians and Apprentice Technicians.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address non-standard maintenance issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in aircraft component MRO.
- Certified in aircraft component maintenance by a recognized aviation regulatory authority (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Familiarity with OEM certifications for specific components is highly desirable.
- Advanced technical proficiency in mechanical and precision repair.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and certification requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
