Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices
Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations
Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices
Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing
Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies
Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program
Sustainment support – Provide end-users assistance for issues related to SAP functionality, including troubleshooting and resolving errors
System monitoring – Responsible for the integrations inbound and outbound and supporting any failures that may arise
Travel requirement for this role will be 25 - 50% during the project roll out. Expected to reduce significantly there after.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Experience with finance processes including such as Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Project Accounting
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities, especially in the areas of FI-GL, FI-BL, FI-AA, Reporting and Profit center accounting
Experience supporting SAP integrations, eg Tax engine and Workday/ADP
